A new report from the Indian River County Realtors Association showed Friday that sales of existing homes increased while prices stabilized in September.
The report said 132 existing single-family homes were sold in September, up significantly from 94 a year earlier. The median sales price was little changed at $174,950.
Realtors sold 24 condos in September, up from 11 a year earlier. The median unit price rose to $174,950 from $135,000 between the two months.
“We are optimistic this trend will continue,” said Carol Eisenmann of Executive Properties of Vero Beach and president of the association.
