The Treasure Coast’s newest luxury hotel Costa d’Este will finish construction in February and will be likely open to the public by April, representatives for the “Queen of Latin Pop” said Friday.

The hotel, designed and owned by Estefan, was initially supposed to open in January, but her representative Ken Ellens said that changing some design elements at the hotel has delayed the opening for at least 30 days.

“The slight delay, about 30 days, was caused by concept design revisions, as the hotel is one-of-a-kind,” Ellens said.

Some of the revisions include a luxurious penthouse room called the “Presidential Suite,” said Stuart Rosenberg, of Studio Communications, who also represents Estefan.

“We’re still looking at the first quarter of the year sometime,” Rosenberg said. “We don’t have the exact date yet because of all these design tweaks.”
